Fostering the Next Generation of Pathologists
Your support helps medical students and pathologists in training attend the USCAP Annual Meeting, where they present their research, learn from leaders in the field, and begin building their professional networks.
Pathologists in training are first authors on accepted abstracts, gaining early recognition for their work. Support for medical students also introduces more future physicians to pathology at a time when the workforce is declining, encouraging early interest in the field.

Your support provides international pathologists, including those from underserved countries, with the opportunity to attend the USCAP Annual Meeting through the Global Partner Travel Award, with their full participation supported.
Participants gain access to high quality education and build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors. These connections often continue beyond the meeting, supporting ongoing learning and collaboration within their home institutions and communities.
Strengthening Global Collaboration
Through the USCAP University Partnership Program U²P², your support provides international pathologists, including those from underserved countries, with a four week observership paired with attendance at the Annual Meeting.
USCAP works closely with host institutions to create a thoughtful, well supported experience. Many participants build lasting relationships with mentors that lead to ongoing collaboration, including research and future publications. In some cases, these partnerships extend further, with faculty visiting participants’ home institutions to share knowledge through lectures and training.
