My Green Lab has a vision that within the next decade, every scientist around the world will know what they can do to conserve resources, reduce waste, and have a thriving culture of sustainability within their laboratory. And the time to act is now. Scientists are conducting vital research every day for the benefit of our planet, people, and society, and yet the environmental impact of how scientific research is done is immense. In this lecture, we will share how My Green Lab supports scientists to interrogate their behaviors at the bench, implement sustainable changes, and then amplify those successes across research institutions and regions. The laboratory sustainability movement is driving change at individual and systemic levels. And together we can create a culture of sustainability in science.
