“When I was approached about sharing my experience with USCAP, I didn’t hesitate as the academy has helped shape my career.

USCAP is an exceptional resource for anyone interested in pathology from medical students, trainees, and pathologists (community and academic) alike. More specifically, USCAP offers a plethora of educational courses both on-site via interactive microscopy sessions (I highly recommend as they sell out fast for a reason!), on-demand lectures via the USCAP website, as well as intangible career building programs geared toward strengthening professional leadership skills. In addition, the successful USCAP mentorship program pairs trainees and junior pathologists with senior pathology leaders; a program which has greatly influenced my career. Finally, USCAP offers a platform for expanding your social network by creating long-lasting relationships with pathologists from around the world. Priceless.

“As a pathology trainee, I have attended USCAP every year and presented at the annual meeting. I was so impressed at the Palm Springs interactive microscopy course that I decided to pursue a fellowship in Dermatopathology. I believe that USCAP holds the highest prestige and standards for pathology conferences, and the abstracts and presentations are of high quality. I wish to engage trainees in US/Canadian pathology programs as well as community practicing pathologists and pathologists in underserved regions such as Central India and middle eastern countries such as Oman to be actively involved and participate in USCAP activities and courses. “
