Pathologist-in-Training Travel Award

As part of USCAP’s initiative Fostering the Next Generation of Pathologists, this award reflects our commitment to advancing education, mentorship, and professional development for emerging leaders in the field. By supporting their participation at the Annual Meeting, USCAP helps ensure that promising young pathologists have access to the learning, collaboration, and recognition that fuel progress in pathology worldwide.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Must be a Pathologist-in-Training enrolled in a pathology (or equivalent) professional training program recognized by the Academy.
• Must work and reside in the United States or Canada.
• Must be the first author of an abstract(s) accepted for USCAP’s 2027 Annual Meeting.
• Must be an active USCAP member.

AWARD INFORMATION:

• Each recipient receives a $1,000 check, which is distributed at the Annual Meeting.
• Recipients must register for and attend the Annual Meeting in person.
• Each individual is eligible for this award only once.
• The award is not eligible for transfer to another recipient or for use in a different year.
• Recipients are responsible for making all of their own flight and transportation arrangements.
• A maximum of 20 travel awards will be given this year.
