The Intersociety Council for Pathology Information

The Intersociety Council for Pathology Information (ICPI) is a non-profit organization, sponsored by five major pathology societies, that exists to create or publicize information about the field of pathology and laboratory medicine, to inspire interest across the spectrum of related career opportunities, and to support the training and professional development of students, residents and fellows by promoting educational programs, meetings, resources, and awards offered by ICPI’s member organizations and academic partners.

Student Interest Groups

Many medical schools have student interest groups that provide opportunities to learn more about pathology and explore the specialty as a potential career. If you are interested in pathology, check whether your institution has a Pathology Student Interest Group (PSIG).

National organizations such as PATHSIG provide opportunities for collaboration, networking, mentorship, and educational engagement across institutions, helping students connect with peers and faculty who share an interest in pathology.
