Gaurava Agarwal, MD

Gaurava “G” Agarwal is Professor in both the Departments of Medical Education and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He is an occupational and organizational psychiatrist as well as a certified organizational and leadership coach. He serves as Vice President and Chief Wellness Executive for Northwestern Medicine responsible for setting the organizational wellbeing strategy for our entire workforce.

Carla Ellis, MD, MS

Carla Ellis is a Professor of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a renal and genitourinary pathologist at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, IL. She received her bachelor’s degree at Howard University, her graduate degree at the University of Maryland, her medical degree at the University of Nevada, and pathology training (residency and fellowships) at the Johns Hopkins hospital and school of medicine. She is currently the Vice Chair for Health Equity and Advocacy and the medical director for the renal pathology service at Northwestern Medicine, Department of Pathology. She teaches renal pathology in the nephrology module at the Feinberg school of medicine and is the renal pathology rotation director for Northwestern’s Pathology residency.

Dr. Ellis is a long-time member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) and the USCAP representative for the Association for Academic Pathology (AAPath)-Population Health Education in Pathology (PHEP) working group. She is a founding member, past president and current treasurer for the Society of Black Pathology. She completed the Scholars of Wellness program for Northwestern Medicine and recently published an invited review entitled Building, Promoting and Maintaining a Culture of Psychological Safety and Resilience in the Laboratory (PMID: 40818875).

Sarah M. Dry, MD

Dr. Dry is Professor of Pathology at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where she has been on the faculty since 2000. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree cum laude from Yale University and her Medical Degree from the University of Connecticut. Following pathology residency (AP) at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA (CP) at UCLA, she completed a soft tissue fellowship with Dr. Christopher Fletcher and a GI fellowship with Dr. Klaus Lewin at the Brigham and UCLA, respectively. Dr. Dry has held numerous leadership roles at UCLA and within our professional organizations. At UCLA, these include Director/Co-Director of the UCLA Biobank (2004 – 2019), Vice Chair for Biobanking and Pathology Research Services (2014-2020), Director of Surgical Pathology (2016-2018), Director Anatomic Pathology (2016-2021), Interim Chair (2019-2021) and Chair (2021-present). Leadership roles in USCAP include Abstract reviewer (2012-2015), Lead Abstract Reviewer (2013-2016), Education Committee Member (2018-2021) and Board of Directors (2023-2026). She is an elected Council Member (Councilor-at-Large) for the Association of Academic Pathology (2024 – Present). For the Arthur Purdy Stout Society, she was Treasurer (2013-2018) and currently is Vice-President/President Elect (2025-present). Dr. Dry was a member of the CAP Biorepository Accreditation Program Committee (2013-2019) and Chair of the Membership Committee for the Rodge Haggitt GI Pathology Society (2011-2014). She was fortunate to be a fellow in the Drexel University Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) program during 2011-2012.

Terri E. Jones, MD

Terri E. Jones, MD is an assistant professor of gynecological and breast surgical pathology and cytopathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is a member of the USCAP Membership Committee, a previous member of the USCAP Resident Advisory Subcommittee, and a prior USCAP Ambassador. She is also a podcast moderator for the International Society of Gynecologic Pathology (ISGyP) LiVE Podcast.
