Global Partner Travel Award

As part of USCAP’s commitment to advancing global pathology education, this is a unique opportunity to attend the USCAP Annual Meeting, gain new knowledge, connect with leading experts, and bring valuable insights back to your institution and community.

25 travel awards will be offered for USCAP’s 2027 Annual Meeting in Vancouver, BC.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Must be a pathologist (pathologist-in-training or practicing)
• Must reside in an underserved country (Research4Life.org Group A and Group B) and have a demonstrable need for financial support to attend the USCAP Annual Meeting. Applicants are required to physically reside and be employed in this country through the start of the 2027 Annual Meeting. Relocating outside of the selected country prior to the meeting may result in forfeiture of the award.
• Provide a CV and supporting letter from a department head or supervisor attesting to the need for travel assistance and the potential benefit of attending the conference.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO:

• Applicants who submitted an abstract(s) for the 2027 Annual Meeting
• Applicants whose abstract(s) have been accepted for presentation at the 2027 Annual Meeting
• Applicants who have never attended an Annual Meeting

EACH TRAVEL AWARD INCLUDES:

• Hotel accommodation for the entire conference stay
• Complimentary General Registration (includes On-Demand access)
• Enrollment in the Long Course
• Two complimentary short courses
• Adjunct Membership in USCAP for one year (includes subscriptions to USCAP’s leading journals)
• $1,000 USD Cashier’s Check to assist with additional travel costs

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Applicants who have recieved this award two or more times are not eligible to apply.
• The award is not eligible for transfer to another recipient or for use in a different year.
• If selected, we recommend award recipients apply for their visa immediately.
• Cashier checks will be distributed at the Annual Meeting in Vancouver, BC.
• Recipients must attend the conference in person to receive the award.
• Recipients are responsible for making all of their own visa, flight, and transportation arrangements.
