The goal of the Academy is to provide high quality continuing medical education. Realizing that many
members are unable to attend the Annual Meeting, the USCAP is making some of the educational material from
that meeting available on this web site. These materials provide an excellent source of information and
they are provided free of charge as a service to the pathology community.
Companion Society Meetings
At the beginning of the USCAP Annual Meeting (on Saturday and Sunday) symposia are presented by 22
sub-specialty societies. These symposia bring to the participants the latest scientific information in
these particular areas of expertise. The following societies have chosen to make the syllabus for their
presentation available on this web site.

(We would encourage members of their respective Companion Societies to utilize the existing "chat rooms" of the Companion Societies to engage in discussions and questions relevant to that area of interest.)
Specialty Conferences
The 16 Specialty Conferences which are presented in the evening during the USCAP Annual Meeting include
difficult cases discussed by experts in their field. Material from the 2004 conferences is now
available.
Short Courses
Short courses comprise a major component of the educational program at the Annual Meeting. Approximately 60
short courses are scheduled each year. These courses are presented by recognized educators and they provide
a plethora of pearls and take-home diagnostic clues on dozens of organ systems and topics. Accepted courses
are typically scheduled for a four-year term and material from some courses which have been retired is being
made available on this web site.
