The society meets during the USCAP annual meeting and potential topics are discussed among the members. There is a consensus decision regarding what are the issues that should be discussed in future meetings taking into account the society's goals, officer's opinions and feedback from the members and past meeting participants. This year topics that include ER positive tumors, their biology, molecular classification and mechanism of resistance fulfill a need for the members and participants to become aware of these important issues. The society has invited a medical oncologist to participate and lecture during the companion meeting. The society also encourages active audience participation during the round table discussion and this year’s program is a good opportunity to exchange information during the Companion Meeting.
